Get ready for to lift your voice, share the joy and feel the warmth of our original Jubilaté Choir!
We meet on Tuesday evenings, 7pm at St John's Church, Barham. We follow three Seasons per year: Spring, Summer & Autumn, each totalling 12 weeks with a half-term break. Becoming a member of Jubilaté Choir currently costs £51 per 6 week block, plus extra for sheet music and rehearsal tracks. Members currently pay £12 for a paper booklet or £6 for PDFs. This extra charge includes the cost of rehearsal tracks which are sent out upon receipt of payment.
We sing exactly the same repertoire as our Bekesbourne and Wingham Jubialté choirs. This means singers can move flexibly between choirs whenever life gets busy - if you miss a rehearsal one week, you're warmly invited to join another group instead. It's all part of our inclusive, supportive and friendly approach that makes Jubilaté such a special choir to belong to - we really are one musical family. Have a look at the rehearsal schedule below to see what we're singing at the moment.
We are lead by Lucy Gove and accompanied by Richard Ansell. We have a fantastic group of volunteers who serve teas, coffees, biscuits and sometimes even cake and bubbly on special occasions! You'll be greeted by Lucy's Mum, Julia.
